2025 Summer Calendar

• June 28 – Session activities plus Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area’s Reading the Historic Landscape with Travis Shaw field trip, Gilbert’s Corner Park (combined Junior and Seniors groups all day)

•  July 12 – Bring-your-stuffy day with session activities for the Juniors and for the Seniors, plus a movie (Mindcraft) for all the students, Alamo-theater-style (with lunch and popcorn)

•  July 19 – Session activities for the Juniors and for the Seniors plus a special Typewriter Poetry workshop led by Joseph M. Jablonsky, the Walking Mall Poet

• July 26 – An extended day with session activities for the Juniors and for the Seniors plus a trip to the Middleburg Pool in the afternoon.

• August 02 – Special Field Trip day for both the Juniors and the Seniors to Bowlero in Sterling for bowling and pizza, with a special ice cream social when we return to Hill School.

• September 13 – Team Saturday Student Program Orientation and Family Open House, 11:00 to 1:00

• September 20

• October 4 – Session activities for the Juniors and Seniors plus a special outdoor nature workshop (all students)

• October 25 – Session activities for the Juniors and Seniors plus a special Morven Park Pollinator Heroes workshop (Juniors only)

• November 8 – Regular session classes for the Seniors and special Discover Traffic Gardens (STEM) workshops  for the Juniors

• November 15 

• December 13

• January 10 – Session activities for the Juniors and Seniors plus Mr. Horkan’s Tae Kwon Do workshop (Juniors only)

• January 24 

• February 7 – Regular session classes for the Seniors and a Field Trip to an Escape Room at Morven Park (Juniors only)

• March 7 – Session activities for the Juniors and Seniors and a special Morven Park Soil Stewards workshop (Juniors only)
